Common use

Tribenzor combines olmesartan (an angiotensin II receptor blocker), amlodipine (a calcium channel blocker), and hydrochlorothiazide (a thiazide diuretic) to control high blood pressure. By working through different mechanisms, it helps relax blood vessels, reduce fluid retention, and improve overall blood flow, lowering cardiovascular risk.

Dosage and direction

Tribenzor is usually taken once daily, with or without food, as directed by your healthcare provider. Swallow tablets whole; do not crush or chew. Dosage may be adjusted based on blood pressure response and kidney function. Regular monitoring of blood pressure and electrolytes is recommended.

Precautions

Inform your doctor if you have kidney or liver disease, heart problems, gout, diabetes, or electrolyte imbalances. Avoid sudden position changes, as dizziness may occur. Monitor for signs of dehydration, low blood pressure, or swelling.

Contraindications

Missed dose

If a dose is missed, take it as soon as you remember. If it is close to the next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double the dose.

Overdose

Overdose may cause severe hypotension, dizziness, or electrolyte disturbances. Seek immediate medical attention if overdose is suspected.

Storage

Store Tribenzor at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and light. Keep tablets in the original container and out of reach of children.
